Extra Judicial Murder: Kwara Police Arraign 3 Sacked Officers

The Kwara state police command has arraigned three of its officers for their alleged involvement in extra Judicial killing.

This was disclosed in a press release made available to newsmen on Friday by its spokesperson, DSP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi.

According to the statement, the dismissed officers, Mr Abiodun Kayode, Mr James Emmanuel, and Mr Oni Philip, were taken to court on Wednesday, 16th October, 2024, following the conclusion of investigation into their involvement in criminal conspiracy, and culpable homicide.

Among others, the trio allegedly master-minded the death of one Qoyum Abdulyekeen Ishola.

They have since been remanded in prison custody pending the determination of the case in court.
