Anambra Joint Task Force Smashes Insurgent Camp Ogbunka
*Rescues 3 hostages including a Rev Father

Operatives of the Police-led Forward Operating Base, FOB, comprising military and paramilitary Services, supported by Police Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu, have smashed an insurgent camp based in Ogbunka, Orumba South council area of Anambra state.
The Aguata-based FOB unit busted the camp in a well coordinated operation on Saturday, October 6, and arrested three suspects.
The unit also recovered three pump action guns and nine vehicles snatched from their owners at gun points and in various locations.
Also recovered are stolen Camouflage uniform, Biafra Flag, several handsets, flash drives and sim cards said to be very relevant in aiding comprehensive investigation and prosecution.
According to a statement issued by the state command, the gang is responsible for the recent spate of abductions in both Orumba North and South, as well as Aguata council areas.
The statement added that the raid on the insurgents Camp followed months of diligent and painstaking intelligence gathering and investigation which led to uncovering the criminal hideout.
