Anambra Man Kills Brother Over Food

Anthony Kosisochukwu Okafor is at the moment cooling his feet in one of the cells inside the Abagana division of the Nigerian Police where he is in custody over the alleged murder of his brother.

A statement released to news by state command spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, disclosed that the incident took place on Friday, February 7, at Adegbe village, Abagana, Njikoka Council area of the state. According to the statement, 37 year-old Okafor, killed his 45 year-old brother, Emmanuel Okafor, during a fight over food stuff.

He allegedly dug a stick into the deceased chest area piercing a mortal hole that resulted in his death.

Although the late Emmanuel was rushed to the hospital, he was however, pronounced dead upon arrival.

The case has been transferred to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department, where he is expected to be charged to court upon the completion of investigations
