CP Orutugu Takes Governor Soludo On Facility Assessment Tour Of Rapid Response Squad

Commissioner of Police Ikioye Orutugu recently took Governor Chukwuma Soludo on a facility assessment tour of the Rapid Response Squad Formation in Awkuzu.

This visit was part of the Command's efforts to enhance transparency, security operations, and collaboration with the Anambra State Government.

During the tour, CP Orutugu briefed Governor Soludo on the Command's operational readiness, particularly in re-arresting suspects involved in the murder of Hon. Justice Azuka.

He also outlined proactive measures to prevent similar incidents. To improve accountability and transparency, CP Orutugu has commenced reorganizing the RRS unit. This includes systematic interviewing of suspects in custody to ensure proper accountability and uphold transparency.

The reorganization aims to enhance public trust in the criminal justice process.
