Embattled Ogun Oba Charged to Court Over Public Assault
*Granted bail.

The embattled Olorile of Orile-Ifo, Oba Abdulsemiu Ogunjobi, who assaulted one 73 year-old elderly man in Ifo, Ogun State, was, on Tuesday, charged to court.
Although he was immediately granted bail, he was given a three-count charge, including conspiracy, assault and conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
The case was however, adjourned to Thursday, February 6, 2025.
It would be recalled that the monarch, alongside some of his hangers-on assaulted the Septuagenarian, slapping and kicking him until he laid prostrate as ordered by the monarch.
The incident was captured on a viral video had the monarch boasting that no police can do him anything as he was in charge. His arongant misconduct prompted the state government to slam a six-month suspension on him.
Subsequently, the police invited him for questioning following which the three-count was rammed on him
