Fuel Subsidy Is Gone-Tinubu

Nigeria President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has stated categorically that the era of fuel Subsidy in Nigeria is gone for good.

He made the declaration while giving his inaugural speech in Abuja on Monday. 

"The era of fuel Subsidy Is Gone," he said. 

According to him, the last administration did not make any provision for subsidy, a reason why it cannot be continued by his administration. 

President Tinubu also assured Nigerians that his administration is determined to unfold certain budgetary reforms in order to revamp  the economy.

Among others, he promised that his administration will make electricity made more accessible to Nigerians by encouraging various state governments to participate in power generation and distribution. 

In particular, he promised investors that his administration will review existing tax regimes with a view to removing multiple taxation.
