Harris Thanks Biden for Nominating Her

For the first after being nominated by President Joe Biden on Sunday, United States Vice President, Kamala Harris, has broken her silence after her nomination by President Joe Biden as his replacement for the 2024 Presidential Elections.

She spoke on the subject on Monday via her official X.com page, indicating her willingness to accept the offer and defeat former President, Donald Trump in November's presidential election.

"On behalf of the American people, I thank Joe Biden for his extraordinary leadership as President of the United States and for his decades of service to our country," she wrote.

In another statement on the same platform, she reiterated her intention earn the confidence and approval of the President Biden in nominating her. While seeking the support of party supporters by way of donations, she also pledged to help unite the nation and defeat what she described as 'Donald Trump and his extreme project 2025 agenda'.

"I am honored to have the President’s endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination.

"I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party-and unite our nation-to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda. If you’re with me, add a donation right now."
