Innoson Motorcycle Showroom Abduction: Anambra Police Begin Manhunt

Operatives of the Anambra Joint Security Forces, JTF, have launched a massive manhunt to arrest the armed men that abducted three victims from the Innoson Motorcycle showroom in Owerri road, Nnewi.
The development is contained in a statement issued by the command spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, Tuesday.
The Command, in the statement, noted that it has triggered a manhunt working on Information already obtained with a view to rescuing the victims within the shortest possible time and also apprehend the Abductors.
"The Police Command is determined and is already working with information obtained from the scene for the ongoing rescue operations."
It called on residents with useful information to avail the command using toll-free number 112 or 07039194332, in order to quicken the investigation processes
"The Comamd also urges residents or anyone with useful information that will aid the investigation to come forward to the Command headquarters, Awka, or the nearest police station."
Meanwhile, the command on Wednesday announced the arrest of two female kidnap victims and four suspects.
SP Tochukwu who made the disclosure in a statement, also noted that the commanded recovered phones, monies and other incriminating items from the criminals suspects.
According to the statement, operatives of the Oba Police Divisional Headquarters, Idemili South Local Government Area, arrested a suspect described as "one notorious Kidnapper" alongside three other accomplices following the payment of a Two hundred thousand (N200, 000) Naira ransom of one kidnap victim.
The suspect, Ifechukwu Ibesimako, 19, from Aboji Village Oba and other three accomplices reportedly lured their victims through social media chats, proposing friendship but holding them hostage until their relatives "...pay a certain amount to their gang before they are released."
The arrest of the arrest of the suspect and his accomplice, according to the command, "...brought more revelations of their criminal activities in the area and a report of another female victim who had already paid ransom and was released months ago."
