Okupe Dies at 72
*Death linked to cancer.
Former Special Adviser to ex President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, is dead, family sources confirmed early Friday.
The former presidential spokesperson, the source added, has been critical ill for weeks, the illness linked to cancer.
In particular, the 72 year old Ogun indigene has been dealing with prostate cancer which was diagnosed about 16 years ago. He also had sarcoma issues with his right shoulder.
Okupe was in hospital dealing with cancer two years ago following which he was flown to Israel for treatment.
His treatment was however, unsuccessful
