Suicide Bomber Kills 19 in Borno, Injures Dozens
*As Police uncover cache of arms and ammunition in Lagos.

Nineteen people were on Wednesday killed in Borno state by a suicide bomber.
The incident, which occurred in Kawuri village, Kunduga council area, along the maiduguri-Kunduga-Bama Road, also injured dozens of others. It is coming on the heels of the killing of an accountant with the Local Education Authority, Damboa council area, Shettima Mustapha, lost his life as the vehicle he was traveling in hit an Improvised Explosive Devices, IEDs.
Security operatives are having challenging times dealing with insecurity in the area following what seems ti he an uosrge in suicide bombing particularly around the Gwoza council area axis where over 30 people have been killed with over 100 others sustained various degrees of injuries.
The incidents have forced security agencies to issue travel directives, urging people to be careful of any gatherings at the moment.
Meanwhile, the Lagos state police command revealed that its operatives apprehended a couple who were involved in an armed robbery attack at Agoro Street, mushing in the early hours of Tuesday.
The Command's tactical unit, which responded to a distress call, arrested two suspect, 42 year-old Sheriff Mustapha and 38 year-old Saturat Lateef.
A third accomplice is said to have escaped from the scene.
While being questioned, the duo led the operatives to their No 1, Mushalashi hideout where to find a cache of arms and ammunition.
Items recovered include two AK 47 rifles, one K2 Assault rifle, one Red Rufer rifle, three pump action rifles and two locally made single barrel pistols. Others include five magazines, fifty seven live cartridges, seventy 5.56 live ammunition, twenty seven 9mm ammunition, one expended 5.56 ammunition, one dagger, three walkie talkies and nine international passports.
