7.4 magnitude Earthquake Hits Alaska Pennisula

A magnitude 7.4 earth has hit the Alaska Pennisula, early Sunday.this was disclosed by the United States geological Survey, USGS.

Reuters reports say the US Tsunami Warning System triggered a tsunami warning for all regions of the pacific close to the earthquake.

The report noted however, that the quake is relatively a shallow one which, according to the USGS, occured at a depth of 9.3 kilometre, about 5.78 miles.
