US Police Arrest Nigerian For Killing Wife

Police in Orange County, South Carolina, US, on Saturday, arrested and detained a Nigerian, Hassan Adeyemo, on Saturday, for fatally shooting his wife.
Hassan Adeyemo, 46, according to sheriff's office, is to face first degree murder charge for killing his wife, 43 year-old Nancin Adeyemo, who is a mother of five.
He was said to have shot his wife after an argument, the nature of which was not disclosed.
Deputies, who responded to a distress call, arrived at his residence at about 7:22pm, and met the accused with a firearm.
He was taken into custody while his wife was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The incident is however, being treated as a case of domestic violence.
"The husband remained at the scene and was arrested to face a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm," the Sheriff's office said.
