Anambra Insecurity: Police Intercept Three Suspects, Recover One Stolen Vehicle In Awka

Operatives of the Special Anit Cultism Squad Enugwu Ukwu on Wednesday busted a three-man Armed Robbery Gang.

The gang, travelling in a black-coloured Lexus 330 SUV without a plate number, were arrest at Kwata junction, Awka, during routine patrol operations.

According to a release made available to news, the trio, 22 year-old Ifesinachi Okonwko; Chisom Okafor, 20, and Oderah Ebenezer, also 20, have confessed to having stolen the car at Isuaniocha Village, Awka North council area.

They are also said to be members of the same criminal gang terrorizing innocent citizens in and around Awka.

Meanwhile, the Command has invited anyone looking for a vehicle of the desc to come to the office of the Police Public Relations Officer Awka with valid Proof/Evidence of Ownership for verification and possible collection.
