Anambra Police Boss Lauds Citizens Over Peaceful Election

Commissioner of Police deployed to Anambra state for the 2023 House of Assembly Election, CP Aderemi Adeboye, has commended the people of the state for their peaceful conduct during the polls.

The commendation is contained in a statement issued by the state police command and released by its spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, on Wednesday. 

CP Adeboye who noted that the people exhibited the same peaceful attitude during the February 25 Presidential and indeed the 2021 governorship elections in the state, extolled the spirit of sportsmanship displayed by both the contestants and the electorates who he said, exhibited maturity throughout the exercise.

CP Adeoye, who also thanked the state government for allowing a level playing ground for the people to express their choice, extended his gratitude to the heads of all the security agencies in the state for their patriotic and sacrificial spirits in the discharge of their duties, including the unparalleled synergy with and support for the police which he noted, guaranteed success in the elections. 

While also praising all officers and men of the command, CP ADdeoye urged all stakeholders to continue to work for the greater good of the nation in all their endeavours.
