Anambra Police Nab Robbery Kingpin, Ebuka, Other
*Recover stolen cars.

A notorious armed robbery and kidnap kingpin, Ebuka Ndubuisi, regarded as head of the criminal group terrorising Enugu-Nku and environs, has been arrested by operatives of the Anambra State Police Command.
Ebuka, 29, according to a statement released by command spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, was arrested at Obosi, Idemili North Council Area, late Saturday evening.
The statement disclosed that Ebuka was picked up following the confessional statement by Miracle, one of his comrades-in-crime. He is said to have master-minded the robbery and kidnap incident in which the victim reportedly coughed out a N15m ransom bounty. His car was also taken away during the incident.
According to the statement, operatives attached to the Special Anti-Cultism Squad Enugu-Ukwu, went into action upon the receipt of credible information from Miracle and stormed a location where Ebuka was hiding. He was promptly picked up.
The victim has since been rescued, his car tracked and recovered at the MCC Junction, Onitsha.
Prior to the arrest of Ebuka, the command also announced the arrest of one Nwokpoku Emmanuel. The 34 year-old indigene of Ebonyi State, a resident in Obosi, is alleged to be a cohort of Ebuka and others in the abduction of the victim who paid the N15m ransom.
Meanwhile, the command also announced the recovery of several stolen vehicles in its renewed onslaught against crime and criminalities in the state.
The recovered vehicles include Toyota Corolla (red), with registration number Enugu 409 AA; unregistered ash coloured Lexus ES 350; Mitsubishi Hilux (blue colour), registration number GDD 440 TJ; Lexus ES 330 (Grey colour), registration number ACA 551 MA and Toyota Highlander Jeep (Grey Colour), with registration number SMK 544 GP.
