Afro-Pop singer, Chris Mba, Dies of heart-related ailment.

Chris Mba, one of Nigeria's popular Afro-Pop singers, is dead.
His passing was announced on Wednesday, in a statement released by the General, Premier Music, Michael Odiong.
According to the statement, the Jerry-curled singer died at about 6pm at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, after years of battle with heart-related ailments.
Known more for his chart busting single, 'Baby Don't Cry', Chris, signed on Premier Music, had other very popular tracks, including 'Love Everlasting', 'We Need Each Other', and was a household name among party goers and music lovers in the 80s.
About 5 five years ago, he sent a distress call to one of his journalist friends, intimating him of his ailment and asking for urgent financial assistance to settle mounting medical bills.
“...this is a serious health challenge for me and my family. Please, my brother, help me. We buy drugs every day and hospital bed costs N50k,” he was quoted as saying.
