FIFA U-20: Nigeria beat Argentina, Zoom Into Quarter Finals

Nigeria's Under 20 football team, the Flying Eagles, on Thursday night, defeated their Argentines counterparts to book a ticket to the Quarter Final round of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup tourney. 

The Flying Eagles, the underdog, according to bookmakers, scored their first goal in the 61st minute through Ibrahim Muhammad while team mate, Rilwanu Sarki made it two against the tournament host in the first minute of added time to silence the vociferous supporters of the and sealed the fate of the home team. 

With their ouster of tournament favourite, who won all their qualifying games in the first round, the Nigerian team now stands as one of the tournament favorites. 

The Ladan Bosso boys are billed to face either Ecuador or South Korea in the Quarter Finals.
