Many Killed As Zaria Central Mosque Roof Collapses On Worshippers

At least four worshippers have been confirmed dead following the collapse of the roof of Zaria central mosque.
The incident took place Friday while the victims were praying, leaving unconfirmed number of persons injured.
Emir of Zazzau, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that worshippers were observing the Asr prayer at about 4 pm when the roof caved in.
According to other sources, a team of civil engineers were working to fix a crack earlier noticed on the mosque's wall when the incident happened.
