*Suspect confess to killing of seven more young women

Weeks after the murder of a female Uniben graduate, Glory Idowu Adekolure, and sequel to the directives given by Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, for the police to fish out the killer(s), operatives of the command have successfully apprehended an alleged suspect.
State police Commissioner, Funsho Adegboye, who made the disclosure while speaking with Channels TV, explained that the suspect was nabbed in Asaba, capital of neighbouring Delta state.
According to him, the suspect is yet to be paraded as investigations are still ongoing following confessions he made to the effect that he has murdered at least seven young women.
Miss Adekolure reportedly went to Uniben on June 13, 2024 to submit her project. However, her remains were found under a tree in one of the streets in Iyowa Community of the state capital.
