Ngannou Takes The Night in Saudi Arabia MMA Return
*Stops Ferreira in first round.

Cameroonian strong man, Francis Ngannou, lived up to the billings Saturday night as he marked his Mixed Martial Arts, MMA, with a first round Knock-out over Renan Ferreira in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The victory, his 13th career win by Knock-out, came upon his return to the cage after almost three years of absence.
It was enough for the big Cameroonian to shed tears while dedicating it to his late 15-month-old son Kobe, who passed on earlier this year.
"I can't think about anything [other] than my son Kobe. I only took this fight because of him," said Ngannou.
"I went to fight for him. I hope they can remember his name because without Kobe, we wouldn't be here tonight. I wouldn't have fought," he said shedding tears.
Ngannou's return was marked with a number of brutal ground assaults on his opponent culminating in the stoppage within the first round.
The 38 year-old Cameroonian, who contemplated retirement earlier in the year, became a sensation globally after his once-a life time encounter with King of Gipsy, Tyson Fury and a not-so impressive outing against Anthony Joshua.
Nonetheless, he has been very adamant, insisting he never left the MMA, in the build-up to the Riyadh showdown
