NNPC Ltd Speaks on Fuel Supply Situation

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, has explained that the ongoing challenges faced by motorists while trying to obtain fuel in some parts of the country, including Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, is as a result of what it termed, the tightness in the supply and distribution processes.

The explanation is contained in a statement issued and made available to newsmen in Abuja on Saturday by company spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye. 

"NNPCL wishes to state that the tightness in fuel supply and distribution witnessed in some parts of Lagos and the FCT is as a result of a hitch in the discharge operations of a couple of vessels.

The companies assured that the company is working round round the clock with other stakeholders to ensure that the stricture is resolve, normalcy restored as quality as possible.
