NPC Executive Secretary Ezughah, Urges Patience With Govt
*Calls for objective assessment of policies.
The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Press Council, Dr. Dili Ezughah, has urged Nigerians to be patient with the Tinubu administration.
Dr. Ezughah stated this during a Live programme on the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA.
The Executive Secretary said the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu's Eight Point Agenda policies were designed to revamp the economy, observing that they were already working.
He expressed optimism that the storm would soon be over.
"Let's not allow the pangs of hunger and anger to stop us from seeing when the storm is over", he added.
He reeled off the reforms of this administration, which include: local government autonomy, deregulation of oil refinery and the downstream oil sector, currency flotation, students loan scheme; and the quiet but aggressive curtailment of insurgency and banditry.
Dr. Ezughah said President Tinubu needed the support of course Nigerian to realize the noble intentions of his Renewed Hope Agenda.
