Sculptor Extra Ordinaire: Felix Eboigbe Goes Home

Renowned Nigerian born American sculptor, Felix Eboigbe, will be buried in Louisville, Kentucky, United States, today March 8, 2025.

He will be laid to rest at the Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky Visitation which precedes his final rest is expected to take place at A. D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chesntut St., between 11am-12pm Eastern time.

Born in Okaigben, Ewohimi, Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo state, South South Nigeria, Eboigbe grew up in Aba and Lagos before relocating to the US on the invitation of the Ford Foundation, United States Information Agency, among others and eventually took up appointment at the Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, as art teacher and resident sculptor.

He is survived by two children, John Eboigbe and Grace Medinger.
