Protesters Forward Convergent Points List to IGP
*South East yet to be included

Organizers of the August 1-10 nationwide protest against hunger and hardship have forwarded a list of their convergent points across the country.
The list is contained in a letter transmitted to the Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, by the solicitor to the group, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, SAN, on Tuesday.
Though the tentative list comprises cities across the country with the exception of the South East, the organizers opined that they are of the believe that it is enough for the police to plan and activate the needed security cover for the event.
"Please find below details of SOME of the points of convergent for the public meetings, rallies and procession.
"We shall update you with further details in the course of time, hoping that the above information suffices for planning and strategy," the letter stated in part.
The listed convergent points are Eagles Square, Abuja; Opposite wema bank, Akpakpava, Benin City, Edo state; Alausa park, by Secretariat, Ikeja, Lagos state; Opposite School of Agric, Bauchi, Tafawa Belewa Road, Bauchi state; Rosewale Filling Station, Iwo Road, Ibadan, Oyo State; Round About, Opposite State Stadium, Damaturu, Yobe state; Rainbow Roundabout and Patani Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers state, and Freedom Park, Oshogbo, Osun state
