Soludo Pays Tribute to Late Chief Sylvester Ezeokenwa

Anambra state governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has paid glowing tribute to late Chief Sylvester Ezekenwa, father of the National chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Barr Sly Ezeokenwa.

The governor, who was accompanied by party chieftains, made the remarks at the funeral mass held in honour of the late patriarch at the Holy Name Parish, Umuchu, describing him as a "true stalwart of APGA" whose legacy will be deeply missed.

The Governor also used the occasion to announce the upcoming construction of the Ugwu Akpu to Ọsụ Umuchu road, signaling hope for future development. In his Homily, the presiding Bishop, Jonas Benson Okoye, described death as a transition to a better place.

He admonished both the family and congregation to work towards having eternal peace in the afterlife.

The service was attended by prominent figures, including Deputy Governor ot the state, Dr Onyekachukwu Inez and Speaker of the Anambra state house of Assembly Rt Hon Somtochikwu Ukwu Udeze.
