Supreme Court Adjourns Nnamdi Kanu's Case To September 14
Supreme Court to hear Kanu's Case on September 14.

Nigeria's apex court, the Supreme Court, has adjourned the case of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to September 14.
The adjournment was announced by the court on Thursday after hearing an appeal by his Special Counsel, urging it to ensure that justice is served in his client's trial.
Kanu approached the Court November 3 to appeal against the October 28 ruling of the Appeal Court which halted his release from the custody of the Directorate of State Security, DSS.
The Appeal Court stayed the execution of an earlier High Court order which acquitted him of all charges and directed his release from the custody of the DSS.
