Sustaining Safety in Anambra: Police, Other Security Agencies Intensify Night Patrol

The Nigerian Police, Anambra State Command, in conjunction with other security agencies, have intensified night patrol surveillance over the state in a bid to nip criminal activities and the bud and sustain general security in the state.
The development is contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Awka on Saturday by command spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu.
According to the command, the patrol is designed up the command's proactive pro-people policing with a view to deterring crime and criminal activities around the state.
The Command added that night patrol is also meant to reassure the public of its readiness to take the fight to the criminals by demonstrating its commitment to creating a safer environment for indigenes and other residents of the state.
