The Many Alleged Sins Of Sean Combs, aka, P Diddy

Many may not be familiar with him as Sean Combs. But millions across the four corners of the globe adore him as P Diddy or Puff Daddy, the American Rap music rave and music mogul millions, to whom they would gladly give one of their kidneys to be associated with.
Surely, Diddy has his fair share of adoring and glitzy global attention, given his achievements in the music and entertainment world. But he seems to have turned the table 360 degree against himself, having become one of the most talked about lead character in a real life slimmy soap, one of the lowest in human conduct.
Below is the many alleged sins of P Diddyy that could see him sliding from adoring gpobal superstar status who has always been living large, to just settling down and occupying a lonesome single life in the lonesome confines of a prison cell.
Sequel to months of civil lawsuits, Diddy was picked up in New York by federal law enforcement operatives on Monday, September 16. Shortly afterwards, they slammed multiple charges on him, including alleged sex trafficking, sexual abuse and Rape.
Since then, Diddy has been housed at the Brooklyn's Metro Detention Centre where he's been twice deenied bail.
Reports say Diddy has also been pitched with new indictments by federal prosecutors, many of which alleged that along with his associate, he coerced and sexually abused women as part of a grand desire to satisfy his sexual desires.
The charges include forcing victims into recorded sexual activities, he is said to label “Freak Outs.”
But his counsel, Marc Agnifilo, says he's “an innocent man.”
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” he added, while speaking The Independent via email.
Yet, there are other charges, including sex trafficking, drug possession, abuse and firearm crimes, as contained in a report by Sky News. However, New York Southern District says in a legal indictment that Diddy is also in for racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The indictments say he “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfil his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct” dating back to at least 2008.
Diddy, 54, is also being accused of leveraging his employees, resources, and industry influence to establish a “criminal enterprise in which members and associates engaged in, and attempt to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labour, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice”.
Diddy's indictment document, which mentioned “Freak Offs” 16 times, says the enterprise as an elaborate, staged sexual performances that he orchestrated, directed, and often recorded, while also engaging in the acts.
According to prosecutors, the victims were administered controlled substances during events that sometimes lasted for days, keeping them “obedient and compliant.” Even more so, he's alleged to have subjected them to “physical, emotional, and verbal abuse” to compel their participation.
Yet, the indictment further alleged that the music icon and his associates “engaged in acts of violence, threats of harm, both physical and reputational and verbal abuse," acts that include kidnapping and arson when individuals who witnessed the alleged abuse challenged his authority or reputation.
Reports say the lawsuits against Diddy began nearly a year ago, precisely November 16, 2023, singer and dancer, Cassandra Ventura, aka Cassie, sued him for alleged years of abuse.
Among others, Cassie alleged Diddy subjected her llegations to a decade-long pattern of trafficking, rape, and physical abuse. A 2016 surveillance footage shown by CNN on May 17, 2024, with Diddy chasing and violently assaulting her in an LA hotel corridor, appeared to validate Cassie's allegations. However, the lawsuit was sorted out with Diddy doling out an undisclosed settlement amount within 24 hours.
Cassie explained she opted to “resolve this matter amicably.”
In another instance, 51 year-old Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, an inmate, filed another lawsuit, alleging that Diddy drugged and sexually assaulted him at a party three decades ago.
The allegation is also captured in court documents containing details of his ongoing travail. However, diddy's failure to attend a virtual hearing on September 9,2024, has since reduced his huge earning chest of a princely $100mn Default Judgment charge in favour of Cardello-Smith.
Another lawsuit filed in February 2024 by music producer, Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, came tumbling in fast. In the suit, Jones alleged that he went through "a prolonged campaign of sexual harassment, intimidation and exploitation" apparently in the hands of the rap genius.
Jones, who is known to have worked for Diddy between September 2022 to November 2023, accused his old employer of unwanted advances, culminating in being forced into encounters with sex workers hired by the famous star.
Another victim, Joie Dickerson-Neal filed more charges in November 2023. According to details of the lawsuit, Diddy allegedly drugged, sexually assaulted and secretly recorded the episodes without her consent while she was a college student way back in 1991.
Crystal Mckinney, a formerodel, is another victim in Diddy's long legal list of lawsuits. In her suit filed following the airing of the Ventura video in May, Mckinney alleged that Diddy sexually assaulted her at his New York City recording studio in 2003.
Yet, Mckinny's suit is followed by the one instituted by April Lampros who came out to allege that following her meeting with Diddy as a student between 1995 and 2000s resulted in the entertainer sexually assaulting her multiple times.
As if that wasn't enough, Dawn Richard, a former band mate, added to the long list of lawsuits in which he alleged that he went through years of physical and sexual abuse, starting in 2009, in the hands of Diddy.
In addition, he accused the star of withholding payment, groping, making lewd comments, physical violence, and death threats, while also claiming he enabled the sexual exploitation of underage girls and abused singer Cassie.
Meanwhile, Diddy has denied and pleaded not guilty to all the allegations. He has also vowed to defend himself.
According to his counsel, “Diddy is an imperfect person but is not criminal,”
“To his credit, Mr Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges.
"Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court,” the counsel added.
But until then, it would appear that world famous Diddy is in for a long thing.
