Two Decades on the Throne: Igwe Ifitedunu Calls for More Dev
*Celebrates centenary birthday of Queen Mother

The traditional ruler of Ifitedunu community in Dunukofia Council of Anambra State, Igwe Dr Emeka Ilouno, has called for sustained development, abundance, peace security and sustained development for his community. The monarch made the call while interacting with member of community in his palace as part of the 2025 Ofala festivals.
Igwe Iluono, who expressed gratitude at the impressive turn out of members of the community itizens, prayed for God's blessings, guidance and protection for everyone, including guests and other royalties who came from far and bear.
One of his guests, Igwe (Dr) Chris Oranu Chidume of Omor in Ayamelum Council, described Ifitedunu as a community of people who love and value friendship. Chidume, who was in the company of other monarchs, pleaded for more dividends of democracy and support.
Also speaking at the event, the assistant president general of Ifitedunu, Chief Chinedu, commended citizens for peace and unity in Ifitedunu, just as Bishop Abosodor firstous commended Igwe Ilouno for remaining a man of peace.
The historic annual event is set aside for the monarch to interact with his subjects as well as receive others visitors. During the period, the community showcases its rich cultural heritage of the community, including dance performances (the odumodu dance), with gaily dressed members singing and dancing as they pay homage with gifts to the monarch.
The monarch, supported by members of the community, also took time to mark 100th birthday anniversary of the Queen mother.
