We Lost 3 Officers, 22 Men In Niger Ambush-DHQ
*Disclosed that 7 of its men were also wounded in the ambush
Defence Headquarters, DHQ, has said that three officers and 22 of its men were killed in the terrorist ambush against its troops in Niger state.
Director, Media Operations, Maj Gen Edward Buba, who made the disclosure while addressing newsmen at the DHQ bi-weekly briefing in Abuja, also said that seven soldiers were wounded in the attack.
Maj Gen Buba assured however, that the military would ensure that those responsible for the ambush pay the price as, according to him, no group would ever strike the military without injurious consequence.
