The days when heavy number of All Progressives Congress APC, governors gather in a meetings while the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, tucks it's tail in its hind legs and sneaks out like a lonely orphan will soon be over. This was the key message the governorship flagbearer of the APC dropped in Ayamelum LGA this afternoon when visited the council area to kickstart his campaigns.
Addressing an enthusiastic surging crowd of supporters, party chiefs, support groups, new members, friends and well-wishers at Omor and Anaku, Ukachukwu, alongside his running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife, bemoaned situation where other states assemble for a national program cheerfully, but Anambra would always be browbeaten by the exhuberance of others.
He said that himself and Ekwunife were therefore committed to taking Anambra State to the center of national politics.
According to him the benefits of being involved with the center were numerous to be ignored or overlooked.
He appealed to the citizens to embrace APC, get properly acquainted with the symbol of broom so that on November 8,2025 they all thumbprint and vote for him and Ekwunife. Ukachukwu assured them of assistance to promote agriculture since it's their Godgiven talent and very good road network.
He told the crowd that time was gone when politicians visit the areas for only campaigns and votes. That "APC shall work the talk..."
He used the consultative visit to inaugurate committee that would register, synchronize and coordinate all the support groups in his political camp. Senator Ekwunife urged Anambra electorate to follow someone with a track record of leadership that know Anambra very well. And the time is now, Ukachukwu is the man.
The state chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike commended the people for their open support not minding the mounting intimidation from the opposition parties. He therefore called for their one hundred percent votes on November 8, 2025.
Meanwhile, Ukachukwu has vowed that no part of the state will be left behind in his administration's determination to make the state the centre of people-centric development.
He gave the assurance while giving details of how he hopes to cover all the nooks and crannies of the state with developments never seen before in the history of the state.
According to him, every ward, every local government area and every Senatorial District will have a good story to tell once he is voted in as the next governor of the state.
