Chidimma Adetshina Wins Miss Universe Nigeria
*Billed to represent Nigeria at Mexico's grand finale.
South African borne Nigerian, Chidinma Vanessa Adetshina, has won the Miss Universe Nigeria, 2024.
Representing Taraba state at the event, Miss Adetshina was crowned the Queen Saturday night after dusting four other beautiful ladies in the keenly contested pageant.
Her emergence as the Queen is contained in a report filed by #Pop_PulseZa, a South Africa based online medium, on X.
“Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina has emerged as Miss Universe Nigeria 2024,” the medium reported.
Miss Adetshina was given a lifeline by organizers of the event after being controversially disqualified over nationality identity issues by pageant organizers in South Africa.
The 23 year-old Miss Adetshina, who grabbed the pageant's N10m prize money, will be representing Nigeria at the global version in Mexico.
“This crown is not just for beauty; it’s a call for unity,” She said after being crowned.
