Eboigbe Felicitates with Esekhaigbe on his Birthday

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Esan South local government area of Edo state, Hon Victor Eboigbe, has felicitated with a leader of the party in Edo Central Senatorial District, Maj Gen Cecil Esekhaigbe, rtd, on the occasion of his birthday.

Eboigbe's message is contained in a statement he issued on Monday. 

The party chieftain described Gen Esekhaigbe who had a distinguished career in the military that is a source of pride to all the people of Edo state. According to him, the retired General's service pedigree is also complimented by his outstanding leadership qualities, all of which he has combined to rally support for the development of Esanland in particular and Edo state in general.

"Your distinguished career in the service of our great nation is a source of pride for everyone across Esanland. Not less so is the outstanding leadership qualities you have shown in marshalling other patriots towards making Esanland, Edo State, and Nigeria a better place for all," he stated. 

According to Hon Eboigbe, Gen Esekhaigbe's well-earned influence "...has continued to shape discourse and development..." the same way his "leadership style, forged in the crucible of military discipline but tempered with civilian sensibilities, brought a unique perspective to governance and community building.... 

"As a pillar of inspiration, celebrating you, particularly on this auspicious occasion of your birthday, is more of a duty for those of us who look up to you in many ways.

"Your legacies are too numerous to be listed. Yet, one cannot but remember your transition from the Barracks to civil leadership, marked by the same qualities that defined your military career. In your unique ways, you emerged as a unifying figure, bridge builder and champion of the collective aspirations of our people.

"On behalf of myself, my immediate and APC family, Esan South East Local Government Area, I wish you good health, wisdom, strength and more grace to serve our people many years ahead.

"Happy Birthday, Sir," Eboigbe wrote in his felicitation message
