Eight Dead In Another Serbia Mass Shooting
Nine people, including a police officer shot dead in Serbia's second mass shooting in two days.
A 21 year-old yet to be named Serbian went on a shooting rampage on Friday killing eight people and wounding 13 others.
The shooting, second in as many days, happened near the country's capital, Belgrade, after 13 year-old shooter shot and killed nine people and injured nine others before calling to inform the police of his action on Wednesday.
Reuters reports say the suspect was involved in a altercation in a school yard late Thursday only to leave and return later with an assault rifle and a handgun.
He then opened fire and randomly shot at people through three villages from a moving car. Those killed include his sister and an off duty police officer.
Meanwhile, over 600 Serbian police, including the elite Special Antiterrorist Unit, SAJ, and Gendarmerie, are already out in search for him in a massive manhunt, christened 'Operation Whirlwind'.
"This is sad, the young policeman is my daughter's age, born in 1998. My daughter is taking sedatives, we could not sleep all night, they grew up together." said Danijela, a middle-aged woman in Dubona.
Initially, the country was billed to begin a three-day official mourning on Friday following Wednesday's shooting. Friday's murderous run is expected to add more reason for the exercise
