Justice Ajumogobia's Daughter Found Dead

The daughter Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, Dr Chukwu, has been found dead outside her Parkview, Ikoyi, Lagos home. In what sources described as suspicious circumstance, the medical doctor was found dead outside the gate of her residence on Wednesday.

FreshNews gathered that one of three of her domestic staff, recently employed by the family, have been fingered as culprits. Initial investigation suggests that they may have staged the death scene outside the house to give the impression that she was murdered outside.

A source disclosed that there are evidences to suggest that she died inside the house as there are evidence of blood stains both inside the house and within the compound, which someone allegedly attempted to clean

“Her body was discovered this morning outside the gate to their house. It would appear that new household staff might have been responsible and tried to stage it as if she was outside when it happened. However, signs of an attempt to clean up blood inside the house and in the compound tell a different story.”

Benjamin Humdeyin, spokesperson for Lagos State Police Command, who confirmed the incident, also disclosed that the three domestic staff have been picked up and detained for questioning in connection with the murder.

“Three domestic staff have been arrested and handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department, which has since taken over the investigation. Chukwu, daughter of Justice Offili-Ajumogobia, was found lifeless this morning at about 6:45 am at the entrance of her parents’ house on Bembe Street in Parkview Estate, Lagos,” he said
