Frontline Labour Party's Anambra 2025 governorship aspirant, Chief Dr. George Moghalu, has reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and development of Nnewi youths.

Moghalu made the declaration at the general assembly and end-of-the-year prayer held by Nnewi youths in honour of the law maker.

According to the immediate past Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, the commitment is part of his desire to immortalize late Sen Ubah who had a robust relationship with the Nnewi youths.

He pledged that going forward, he would take up the sponsorship of their end-of-year meeting and the annual December Football Competition, initiatives that were previously supported by the late law maker.

Moghalu, who led the youths in a minute silence and prayers to the memory of Sen Ubah, acknowledged the significant impacts he had on the community, describing him as a consummate politician who lived and died for the citizens, especially the youth.

Moghalu reassured the youths of his commitment to their welfare and development, stating that he is always available to support them. He encouraged the youths to guard, protect, and preserve the good name and honor of Nnewi, emphasizing the importance of community pride and development.

In his response, Nnewi Youth Forum President, Hon Ejim Ucheagwu, praised Moghalu for his outstanding contributions to the development of Nnewi community, Anambra State and Nigeria as a whole.

He described Moghalu as an illustrious son of Nnewi, an uncommon asset and shining example of discipline and selfless leadership.

The event, attended by prominent stakeholders and over 2,000 youths from Nnewi, demonstrated Moghalu's dedication to the community's welfare and his desire to continue with the legacy of Senator Ubah.
