Emirates Set to Return to Nigeria

One of the world's topmost airlines, Emirates, has disclosed that it will resume services to Nigeria beginning in 1 October 2024.

In a statement issued by Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, the airlines said it will resume the Lagos-Dubai flight with daily services between the two cities, offering customers more choices and connectivity from Nigeria to, and through Dubai.

According to the statement, Emirates will be deploying a Boeing 777-300ER. EK783 to the route, which will depart Dubai daily at 0945hrs and arrive Lagos at 1520hrs.

It added that the return flight, EK784, will leave Lagos at 1730hrs and arrive Dubai at 0510hrs the next day.

The Lagos-Dubai service, Kazim said, is a traditionally popular route for Nigerian customers, through which the airline hopes to reconnect with leisure and business travellers not only to Dubai but also it's other network of over 140 destinations.

"We are excited to resume our services to Nigeria.

"We thank the Nigerian government for their partnership and support in re-establishing this route and we look forward to welcoming passengers back onboard.”

Resumption of flight to Nigeria will shore up the air line's operation gateway in the continent to 19. In addition, it will be operating 157 flights every week.

Tickets, the airlines noted, will be available on Emirates.com or via travel agents.
