Oko Poly Killings: Anambra Police Go After Suspects

Operatives of the Nigerian Police, Anambra State command, have gone after suspects involved in the Oko Poly cult-related killings and abduction.
The operatives, who took over the scene of the incident, also confirmed the death of two victims, adding that two of those abducted by the hoodlums, including a lady, have been rescued.
According to sources, the gunmen stormed the scene of the incident and killed a man said to be the popular owner of Legit Wine & Dine, a beer parlor in Oko, Orumba North council area of the state.
He was said to have been shot dead inside his Lexus car opposite Glamour Pizza, near Federal Polytechnic Oko. He was shot twice on the chest by armed hoodlums. Meanwhile, operatives of the command have arrested a suspect in connection with the incident and are conducting further interrogation and investigation. The team, led by the DPO, were said to have responded quickly to the incident leading to the arrest of one suspect and recovery of the victim's vehicle. Investigations are ongoing with further developments expected to be revealed subsequently
