Police Arrest 2 Over Murder of Site Engr in Delta
*Say two other suspects on the run.

Police Operatives in Delta state have arrested five suspects over the murder of a man described as site engineer, who employed them after allegedly discovering he had large sum of money in his account.
The disclosure is contained in statement made available to newsmen by the state command spokesperson, CSP Bright Edafe. Edafe said in the statement that shortly after receiving reports of the missing engineer, identified as Chigozie Udalor, lodged by one Hyacinth Nnalue, a cousin of the deceased, detectives from the Akwu-kwu Igbo division began an investigation on December 12, 2024.
The investigation, Edafe continued, was later taken over by the State Criminal Investigation Department, CID, on the orders of the state police boss, CP Olufemi Abaniwonda with the DPO of Ekpan, CSP Aliyu Shaba, given charge.
The investigative team got a break on 31st March 2025 when it picked up one David Tacho, who attempted to withdraw money from the account of the deceased using the victim’s phone.
The team also nabbed Daniel Orshio, said to be part of the murder. David Tacho, investigations reveal, is a brother to one Victor Tacho, now at large, who conspired with Victor Tacho and Pius Daniel, also at large, and Daniel Orshio, to murder the deceased.
While police are on the trail of Victor Tacho and Pius Daniel, Daniel Orshio and David Tacho are currently cooling their feet in the custody of the command.
The body of the deceased was recovered from a shallow grave near the building site and is currently undergoing autopsy
