Soludo Calls for Continued Collaboration with Nigerian Army Against Criminality

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has emphasized the need for continued collaboration between his administration and the Nigerian Army to intensify efforts against criminality in the state.

The Governor made this call during a special Sallah lunch hosted by Major General O.T. Olatoye to celebrate Eid-Al-Adah at the Onitsha Military Cantonment. Governor Soludo expressed his appreciation for the tireless efforts of the Armed Forces and the state Vigilante in maintaining security in Anambra State. He specifically acknowledged the security agencies' efforts in areas such as Ebonesie, Ihiala, and Lilu, among others.

The Governor also extended his solidarity with President Ahmed Tinubu, Muslims, and Nigerians, praying that the Sallah period would be an opportunity for general purification and progress. Major General Adewale Adekeye, in his remarks, highlighted the significance of the Special Sallah event, which provides an opportunity for the Nigerian Army to reflect on its values and ensure peace and harmony.

The event featured cultural displays from various Nigerian ethnic groups, showcasing the country's rich cultural diversity.
