Gotau Takes Over As GGM, Montage Media Group

Veteran media practitioner and Communication strategist, Kichime Goyang Gotau, has been appointed Group General Manager, Montage Africa Media Group, a conglomerate comprising Montage Radio 99.7FM Abuja, Montage Africa Television and Montage Online Media.

The appointment was announced in a statement by the media group via a letter seen by this reporter.

The appointment, the group noted, is as a result of his extensive experience in "...media production, project management and leadership".

Gotau, a former editor of the National Sports Commission, North Central, was the first head of station of the globally acclaimed Human Rights Radio, Brekete Family, Abuja and a former Consultant head of Station, CTV Abuja.

With an extensive work experience behind him, Gotau was also the Pioneer Foundation Producer for Kaftan Television Ondo town, and former Abuja bureau chief of DKRI, International Radio, funded by DFID & USAID in the lake Chad basin, Maiduguri.

He also had work experiences in several other organizations and comes with multi sectoral industry level impacts on the NGO/CSO sectors, especially the USAID stabilization and rehabilitation projects via NERI in the lake Chad basin.

He began his professional care with the Plateau Radio and Television, PRTV, Jos, before joining the Africa Independence Television, AIT.

He equally had a stint at the national service of the Radio Nigeria Abuja.

He is married with children.
