Zamfara District Head Abducted by Bandits
Alleged bandits have abducted a district head in Zamfara state.

The District head of Kusuwar Daji, a community in Kaura-Namoda Council area of Zamfara state, has been abducted by alleged bandits.
He was allegedly picked up from his residence in the early hours of Thursday by the hoodlums
Community sources confirmed the incident, disclosing that invaders, who arrived in the community in large numbers, went directly to the district head's house where they picked him up and headed back to their camp.
They reportedly fired many gunshots in order to frighten the residents who attempted to rescue their village head.
“I was in my house when I heard gunshots around 2:30 to 3:00 am last Thursday. I was called later around 4 am by a friend who told me that our district head was abducted," a community source said.
The incident is yet to be confirmed by security agents.
