Eboigbe Congratulates New Uniben VC, Prof Omoregie

Federal Commissioner, Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC, representing Edo state, Victor Eboigbe, has congratulated Prof Bright Edoba Omoregie, SAN, on his appointment and subsequent assumption of office as the substantive Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin.

He delivered the message on Monday while reacting to the emergence of Prof Omoregie as the 11th Vice Chancellor of the University.

While describing the appointment as a fitting honour for an equally worthy individual, the Federal Commissioner noted that the occasion called for all honour-conscious individuals and groups to rally round the experienced academicisn and legal luminary to take the university to greater heights.

"On Monday, December 2, 2024, you were inducted into another well-deserved hall of fame as you became the 11th substantive Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin. By any stretch of the imagination, it is a fitting honour having previously bagged the highly esteemed Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, title.

"Let it be said that the new office suits both your person, academic and professional pedigrees.

"It therefore behoves that all honour-conscious individuals and groups rally round you on the auspicious occasion.

"On behalf of myself and family, I congratulate you on your appointment and assumption of office, aware that it is the beginning of more laurels for you," he wrote in a letter he personally signed.
